I thought girls had cooties in 4th grade?

So Drew announced to me the other day that he likes Katie and he thinks Katie likes him too. So I'm thinking, aww, isn't that cute, his first crush. Until the next day when he tells me he has been blowing her kisses in class. Feeling the need to steer him in a manner appropriate of a 4th grader, I say: did you know Katie has a dad? Yeah, he says. Do you think her dad would be real excited about you blowing his little girl kisses at school?, I continue. Hmmm, he thinks for a moment and then responds: so, are you saying I should save that for high school?
